Autism
Autism refers to a brain development disorder that is manifested by impaired social interaction and communication, and restricted and repetitive behaviour, all starting before a child is three years old. Moreover, the condition’s estimated prevalence shows that one to two cases occur per 1,000 people. Autism affects many parts of the brain and noticeable signs are observed by parents in the first two years of their child’s life. A strong genetics has been pointed out to cause autism although its genetics is quite complex to understand. Therapeutic regimen includes early behavioural or cognitive intervention to help children gain self-care, social, and communication skills.
