Contraception
Contraception is synonymous with birth control which means the utilisation one or more actions, devices, or medications in order to deliberately prevent or reduce the likelihood of pregnancy. Moreover, history reveals that the earliest record of birth control is an ancient Egyptian set of instructions on the creation of contraceptive pessary. In addition, the oldest forms of birth control recorder include pessaries, coitus interruptus, and ingestion of herbs. Further, the term contraception may refer specifically to mechanisms that are intended to reduce the likelihood of a sperm cell from fertilising the egg, which is introduced as part of family planning. Lastly, the use of artificial forms of contraception has created quite a stir due to religious reasons.
