Hair Loss
Hair loss or baldness refers to the state of lacking hair where it often grows, especially on the head. Further, the condition androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness is the most common form of baldness where hair thinning is progressive. The incidence of pattern baldness has genetic predisposition, thus it varies from population to population. Moreover, the amount and patterns of baldness can vary greatly where it ranges from male and female pattern alopecia, alopecia areata, which involves the loss of some of the hair from the head, and alopecia totalis, which involves the loss of all head hair, to alopecia universalis, which is the most extreme form, involving the loss of all hair from the head and the body.
