Lubricants
A substance (often a liquid) introduced between two moving surfaces to reduce the friction between them, improving efficiency refers to a lubricant. Basically, there are two types of lubricants: petroleum-based lubricants and water-based lubricants which tend to dissolve petroleum products such as rubber and plastic dissolve polar chemicals respectively. Furthermore, lubricants also function in dissolving foreign particles. Lubricants are used during sexual intercourse in cases where vaginal lubrication is not enough. Further, a number of individuals claim greater sexual satisfaction when there is much lubrication. Lubricants are especially useful to females who are experiencing vaginal dryness and lubricants may help alleviate friction during sexual contact.
