Basing on the framework of the World Health Organisation or WHO, reproductive health, or sexual health/hygiene, addresses the reproductive processes, functions and system at all stages of life. Furthermore, reproductive health has the implications that people have a responsible, satisfying and safe sex life and that they have the capability to reproduce and the freedom to decide about it. Specifically, women reproductive health as well as men reproductive health are being conceptualised to address reproductive health-related issues of men and women. Lastly, the goal of reproductive health is that the rights of men and women to be informed and to have access to safe, effective, affordable and acceptable methods of contraception as well as appropriate health care services.
